6:30 p.m. | Class Day Crossover The beloved Senior Class tradition continues (bigger than ever) in its 20th year! Put on your fancy clothes to gather and celebrate one last time as the undergraduate Class of 2022 after finals and before families arrive for graduation events. 7:00 p.m. | Emory Community Class Day Crossover Reception The beloved Class Day Crossover tradition is back for its 20th year! Join us for an exclusive pre-reception with alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the Emory community before we gather to cheer on the Class of 2022 during the Crossover procession. Afterward, welcome the graduating class into alumni-hood with a Coke Toast on McDonough Field. Help us show the Class of 2022 a warm welcome to the Emory Alumni Association and that a strong Emory network is here for them, wherever they may go! 3:30 p.m. | School of Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy The Emory University School of Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Diploma Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. EST at The Emory Student Center (ESC). Graduating students participating virtually, as well as additional family and friends, will have the opportunity to share in the activities via a live (and on-demand) webcast of the ceremony. The link to view the ceremony will be shared with graduating students closer to the event date. The Diploma Ceremony will feature remarks by The Doctor of Physical Therapy Interim Director, Dr. Tami Phillips, Department of Rehabilitation Chairman, Dr. David Burke and Emory University Trustee, Bishop David Graves. Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Lisa VanHoose, PT, PhD, MPH a Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Baylor University. 4:00 p.m. | School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine The Emory University School of Medicine MD Diploma Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. EST at Glenn Auditorium. Graduates and their guests will participate in a socially distanced, in-person ceremony at that time. Masks are required to be worn by all attendees. Additional guests, family, and friends will have the opportunity to share in the activities via a live (and on-demand) webcast of the ceremony. The Diploma Ceremony will feature remarks by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Vikas, P. Sukhatme. Graduating students attending in-person will be individually recognized during the ceremony. The Papageorge Teaching Award will be presented and recipients of the University Exemplary Teaching Award, and Distinguished Teaching Award will be recognized. Graduating students must officially register themselves and their guests to attend the ceremony. 9:00 a.m. | 2022 Legacy Medallion Ceremony The Emory Alumni Association invites graduating Legacy students and their families to a special ceremony recognizing their connection to the University. Emory Legacy Families recognizes individuals who make an Emory education part of their family tradition. We encourage the Emory spirit in students who are children, grandchildren, and/or siblings of Emory graduates. Generations of families have passed on the Emory tradition, and we celebrate this special relationship. |

4:00 p.m. | Modupe Dayo An African-themed graduation ceremony celebrating the achievements of Black graduates. The ceremony pays tribute to African ancestors and heritage. Prior to the ceremony, guests are invited to participate in the Modupe Dayo reception on McDonough Field starting at 2:30 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. |
6:00 p.m. | C.A.R.A.S. Celebrating Accomplishments and Recognizing Academic Success (C.A.R.A.S.) is a ceremony that honors graduating members of the Latinx community at Emory. Event is hosted in both English and Spanish. Dinner is provided. |

1:00 p.m. | First-Generation Low-Income (FLI) Graduation Ceremony A celebration of the resilience, integrity, scholarship, and empowerment of students who are among the first generation of college graduates in their families. Reception on the Emory Student Center Plaza to follow at 2pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. |
3:00 p.m. | Emory College of Arts and Sciences Honors Ceremony Dean Michael Elliott presides. Recognition of academic honorees. For graduating seniors who have completed the College Honors Program, their families, Honors committee directors, and College faculty. This is a ticketed event. The Honors Program will distribute two tickets to each Honors student; Honors students and faculty do not need a ticket to enter. Doors will open an hour prior to the ceremony beginning. For your safety, we are not permitted to allow guests to stand or sit in the aisles, vestibule, or areas reserved for the students.
